Prett is a new initiative that starts as soon as my new studio is ready. For Prett I will invite fellow artists every thursday evening to create new artworks together.
Prett is obviously inspired by Pritt, the sticky stuff, but 'Pret' is also the Dutch word for 'fun'. Most important is the fact that these evenings will be a lot of fun :-)... Meanwhile, let's make some art !
It is my aim to connect people that don't know eachother and to stimulate new networks. Apart from artists, I will also invite people from other creative backgrounds such as writers, dancers, graphic designers, philosophers etc to build little bridges between different fields.
The results of these collaborations will be shown in my entrance hall, an exhibition that will grow each week.
Every two or tree months I will organise a little concert in my living room, for which a larger audience will be welcome. At the same time the results of the Prett-collaborations will be exhibited.
After a certain period I will make a little book with images of the works and stories about their makers, these books will be printed in small editions.
